Project Description

The Little Caesars Arena is about to open in September 2017, it will be the new home for the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons.

This $862.9 million-dollar venue has many unique and exciting features. The new 43.5 feet wide and 28 feet high scoreboard will be the largest in the NHL with a seamless display that connects on all four corners of the arena. The arena will carry roughly 1,000 flat screen televisions as you walk throughout the complex to one of the 50 fixed to portable concessions.

When you’re ready to grab that Red Wings or Pistons gear, be sure to stop into the Team Store. As you walk into the store you will pass under two Renlita S-1000 Floataway vertically operable custom door systems. These beautiful 13 x 10 doors are a feature as you pass through the purchase your favourite items.

You’re invited to come and experience the new home of the Red Wings & Pistons. Preview week is September 5th – 10th and concludes September 12th when Kid Rock performs his first of six concerts. The Red Wings open their 2017-18 regular season with its first preseason game at LCA on Sept. 23. The Pistons are set to play their first game at the new arena on Oct, 18.
